The Science
Real ingredients. Real research. No overblown promises.
Every dose is printed. Every study is linked. And where the science is still early, we tell you, because you deserve to know exactly what you're putting on your tongue.
Why we do science differently
Most supplement pages show you the hype. We'd rather show you the homework.
Every milligram shown
No "proprietary blends." You see the exact amount of every ingredient in every strip.
Every study linked
Click through and read the original research yourself, no paywall marketing summaries.
Honest about limits
When a study used a different dose or strain than ours, we say so right next to it.
No miracle claims
No "5ร absorption," no "cures." Just measured ingredients in a format that's easy to take.
A small strip. A simple routine.
Oral dissolving strips melt in your mouth, so there's no pill to swallow, no powder to mix and no water to carry.
Place it on your tongue
Peel one thin strip from the tin. It fits in a pocket, purse or carry-on.
Let it dissolve
It melts in seconds with real flavor: raspberry, cranberry, chocolate, mixed berry or mango-orange.
Follow the label
Take as directed on your tin. That's it. No shaker, no glass of water, no gag-worthy capsules.
What the labels mean
Each study gets a tag so you can see at a glance how strong and how relevant it is to our strips.
Sleep
Built around melatonin, one of the most-studied sleep supplements in the world, with four calming botanicals alongside it.
Melatonin and falling asleep
Pooling 19 placebo-controlled studies with over 1,600 people, researchers found melatonin modestly shortened the time it took to fall asleep and increased total sleep time.
Read the study โWhy dose and timing matter
A 2024 review of 26 trials looked at how melatonin dose and timing relate to results. A good reminder that how and when you take it matters.
Read the study โThe botanicals: honest context
The NIH's review covers melatonin, valerian and chamomile, and notes that research on many sleep herbs is still mixed.
Read the resource โThe fine print, in plain English
- The studies above tested melatonin in many doses and forms, not OneStrip itself.
- Melatonin is the star here. Valerian, lavender, chamomile and hibiscus have a long history of use, but less consistent clinical backing.
In short1 mg of melatonin, an ingredient well studied for falling asleep, in a water-free strip you can keep on your nightstand.
Shop Sleep โEnergy
Caffeine paired with L-theanine, the amino acid found naturally in tea, plus vitamin B12. About half a cup of coffee's worth of caffeine, measured precisely.
Caffeine + L-theanine for focus
In young adults, 40 mg caffeine with 97 mg L-theanine improved accuracy when switching between tasks, boosted self-reported alertness and reduced tiredness.
Read the study โA second look at attention
A follow-up trial found the same pairing improved task-switching. Not every measure improved, which is why we show you the full picture.
Read the study โVitamin B12 basics
B12 is essential for healthy red blood cells and normal nervous system function. It matters most for people who aren't getting enough.
Read the resource โThe fine print, in plain English
- Our strip has 50 mg caffeine and 30 mg L-theanine. The trials used less caffeine and more L-theanine, so we can't promise identical results.
- Extra B12 isn't shown to boost energy if your levels are already normal.
- Caffeine can affect sleep. Avoid taking it late in the day.
In shortMeasured caffeine, L-theanine and B12 in a strip you can carry anywhere. No brewing, no cans, no crash-and-burn guesswork about how much you had.
Shop Energy โMushroom Focus
Four functional mushrooms, led by lion's mane, in a chocolate strip. No scoop, no mixing, no earthy-tasting powder.
Lion's mane in healthy adults
In a small 2023 study, people taking lion's mane were faster on one cognitive test an hour after their dose. Other results were mixed, and researchers called for bigger studies.
Read the study โLion's mane in older adults
A small 16-week study in older adults with mild cognitive impairment saw improved scores on a cognitive assessment while they were taking lion's mane.
Read the study โThe fine print, in plain English
- These studies used much larger amounts of lion's mane (around 1,800 mg or more per day) than the 30 mg in our strip.
- They don't show an instant focus effect in healthy people, and they didn't test our four-mushroom blend.
In shortFour named mushrooms, every amount shown, in a no-scoop daily format that actually tastes good.

Bifidobacterium lactis, one of the most researched probiotic species, plus polydextrose, a soluble fiber. No capsule, no fridge.
B. lactis and regularity
Across randomized trials in healthy adults, B. lactis supplementation was linked to more frequent bowel movements.
Read the study โOne of the largest probiotic trials
Adults taking the B. lactis strain BB-12 at 1 or 10 billion CFU a day for four weeks had more frequent bowel movements than those on placebo.
Read the study โHow to choose a probiotic
The NIH explains why the specific strain, product quality and your own needs all matter when picking a probiotic.
Read the resource โThe fine print, in plain English
- Probiotic effects depend on the exact strain. Not every B. lactis strain behaves the same, so these results can't be assumed for every product, including ours.
- The large trial above used the BB-12 strain specifically.
In shortA well-researched probiotic species and a soluble fiber in one mixed-berry strip. Zero capsules, zero guessing.
Shop Probiotic โHangover ยท Seven Botanicals
Seven plant extracts, including turmeric, date palm and amla, in a mango-orange strip, with every amount on the label.
Turmeric and the body's markers
Pooled clinical trials found curcumin-containing supplements were linked to changes in certain oxidative-stress and inflammation markers.
Read the study โThe truth about "hangover cures"
Researchers reviewed 21 placebo-controlled trials and concluded the evidence for every hangover remedy studied is very low quality. We think you should know that.
Read the study โThe fine print, in plain English
- Our strip contains 20 mg of turmeric, not a standardized curcumin extract.
In shortA seven-botanical strip with every ingredient amount visible. No hype, no fake promises, just plants you can name.

Has OneStrip been clinically tested?
Not as finished products yet. The research on this page studies the ingredients inside our strips. Studies often use different doses, extracts or strains, so we tag each one and explain the differences.
Are strips absorbed faster than pills?
Not necessarily, and we won't claim they are. It depends on the ingredient. The real advantage is convenience: no water, no swallowing, and easy to carry, which makes it easier to stay consistent.
Why show "Different dose" tags? Doesn't that hurt sales?
Maybe. But we'd rather earn your trust than oversell you. If you're comparing supplements, you should know exactly how the research lines up with what's in the tin.
Can I take more than one strip type?
Always follow the directions on each label. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a health condition, check with a healthcare professional first. Melatonin can cause drowsiness, and caffeine can affect sleep.
Supplements you can actually understand.
Pick the strip that fits your day. Every dose is on the label, and every claim is one you can check.
